Every Word!

The popular opinion among scholars is that we can’t know for sure each and every word of the Greek New Testament. There are notes in most Bibles that suggest that some verses may not even be a part of the original New Testament. One preface note in the NIV Bible says, “Footnotes call attention to places where there is uncertainty about what constitutes the original text.”

The following video demonstrates that some notes in certain Bibles are blatantly deceptive!

I am happy to announce that new evidence shows that the popular opinion is wrong and that we can now know each and every word of the Greek New Testament!

For the first time in well over a thousand years, God’s people are in a position to know each and every word of the New Testament with certainty. It turns out that God has been preserving His Word from the beginning. Recent analysis of the many Greek New Testament manuscripts has isolated a family of manuscripts with a demonstratable archetype, namely the original writings of the New Testament.

Links to an abbreviated two-part video presentation are provided below that provides evidence and encouragement to believe that the Sovereign God has preserved each and every word of the New Testament. Most of the information used to develop this presentation was gleaned from an outstanding book, The Identity of the New Testament Text IV, by Wilbur Pickering. (Links provided to it are provided below.) Lastly, the information in this presentation has been verified as accurate by a recognized Greek scholar.

New videos by Dr. Pickering:

New: Wilbur Pickering recently produced several videos that cover this material in greater detail and clarity. They can be viewed from his new You Tube page.

The series is made up of eleven videos (averaging about 20 minutes each). There are a few words in Portuguese so here are their meanings: compartilhar = share–please feel free to pass the word along; inscrever-se = register–(since thay plan to add further videos, if you register you will be informed every time a new one goes up; reproduzir tudo = reproduce it all–I’ve never done it , but I suppose it means to download the entire playlist.
